I'm not going to lie. I didn't go into this weekend with my best foot forward. But I feel like I still came out ahead. 

Saturday I had to get up and go to the pre-Holidays meeting out in the 'boro. Basic stuff, fourth holiday and counting with the mighty 'Bucks. Few new things this year, or at least new takes on old things. I represented well in the sales roleplay games and scored me a free T-shirt. Mmm clotheses.

After that I went home with the genuine intent to attempt to get some housework done. But you know how that goes... Shannon and I were both in a mood and both frustrated, words were said, and yelled. But it was cathartic, and it probably need to happen. It's definately not over, but still far from defined. On a brighter note I got Monster House in the mail and we got through half of it before I passed out. I likes it. We are both amazing at recognizing voice actors in animated films. 

I opened today, yet another no show. Luckily the pacing was pretty decent and everyone who did show up worked their asses off. Still ended up working from 5:30A to 3:00P. By the time I managed to get home all I had the energy to do was wolf down a $5 Footlong and take a nap until 6P. Once I got up we managed to finally get a lot of the house work I wanted to do on Saturday done today. Only problem is now I have 6+ loads of laundry done tomorrow. That's what books are for though right? Had a nice soup, salad and cheese bread dinner and watched some football. Now I must be off to dream land. 

Tomorrow is my FRIDAY!!! Then it's two days off and a frozen camp out for Lich King!

 I'm not sure where life is headed. 

I like my job, I LOVE the people I work with. They are a riot. 

My love life is non-existant. Shannon doesn't even look at me anymore. 

I don't get it. We click SO WELL platonicly. Lately it just seems like there is no romance, and even touching me is chore for her. 

I'm sick to death of this.

Had a few friends over last night. Ordered some pizza, blasted some good music and watched the election coverage. 

Shannon tried to further bleach Steven's hair but it still didn't take so he's still looking like Woodstock. I'm gearing up to turn mine red this weekend with surprise hair cuts involved too. 

I'm obviously hopeful and excited about last nights results though a little disappointed to see friends and acquaintances reactions. It just furthers my relief about leaving Texas behind years ago. I can stomach peoples' disappointment, even their ignorance, but some of the things being said today about the state of my country and theirs goes well past the line. Oh well, I'm not forced to interact with them and I haven't responded to any of it. Other than putting up a YouTube of his speech on my MySpace. I'm evil. 

Now I'm catching up on my House and Lost recordings and essentially wasting the day away before having to go in to work tonight. Feels weird closing on a week day since I'm normally unavailable because of raids. But at least I get to see Shannon for about an hour before I have to take off. I love this girl!

So.... I can't find my voter registration card. Anywhere. I know it's in the new apartment somewhere. But I can't find it on the one single day I need to have that piece of paper! Meh... 

It just goes to prove that late October/early Novbember is a terrible time to move. Not that I had much of a choice. I'm just glad it's all over and done with. Paperwork signed. Boxes moved, if not unpacked. Starting to finally be a place I want to come home to. Sometimes...

I got up at 6AM when Shannon left for work. I'm not entirely sure why. I didn't go to sleep until well after 3AM, but it was worth it. The store looks amazing though it could stand to be a little cleaner. Red cups for all!

I'm not sure what to do with myself today. Ostensibly it's my day off. But I have to be at work by 11AM to fax in an order, and then back at 430PM to cover some time for Michael while she's sick. 

Servers are down so no WoW.

Shan isn't here so I can't really do anything to the apartment like hang shelves and/or mirrors/poster/etc...

Leaving me with randomly posting to a blog that I haven't used for more than WoW updates in oh.... maybe two years? 

Feels good though... even if everyone says blogs are dead and no one reads this one anyway. 

 I think we need some pictures of the as yet unfinished apartment. Maybe that will be my project today. We'll see. Being lazy may also be a good prject.

Attack of the laundry monster... I shit you not I have a stack of laundry in my hamper that is taller than I am! Eeek good thing I've got the house to myself! All your washing machine are belong to me!

Last night was... man, awesome? that's such a lame word to use but words are failing me as I just got home from 8 hours of work on about 3 hours sleep =D But it was a good lack of sleep. Tresspassing, delicious animation, hookahs, home-made banana bread (thanks Erica! - I really did like it my tummy was just upset)and some live spinning. Shannon you definatly know how to show a boy a good first date =P.

Seriously what the hell is up with L.A. I could go see indie films galore in TX. And I move out to movie capitol and can't find shit. I had all my hopes set on seeing Night Watch when I got off work today but can't find it showing anywhere near by! =( There's a free screening in Sacremento but that's a might extreme. Ughh I can't wait until it opens up here. Day Watch is already out in Russia and I haven't even seen the first one. *Cries miserably in the corner*

I seriously have to open the Ventu Park store tomorrow with a brand new barista and no relief coming until 9am... shoot me now please? Oh well overtime is overtime.

I can't help but giggle every time I hear a referance to Dick Cheney shooting his pal in the face. I SO cannot wait until the first SNL after the Olympics!

Ok... laundry time... must.. be... productive.

Woah, I totally think I'm going on a date tonight.

It's been..... awhile lol.

I'm supposed to be there at 6ish so of coarse I started getting ready at 2:45. A girl has got to look her best right? Now I'm just pacing around the house updating my LJ because if I don't sit down and focus on something I'm going to explode. Nerves/Excitement/Caffiene?! Whatevah!

Since a few people were asking for a real update (*cough* Brian *cough*) and because LJ used to be cathartic I'll go ahead and post something.

Eh.. so my sister talked to my mom on the phone today for the first time since her suicidal birthday. She's checking into a rehab clinic in Arizona next week for *GASP* her drug and alocohol addictions. She sounded suprised when we told her of coarse we knew she was an alcoholic. So for now I'm just going to work and trying my best not to dwell on it at all. I thought I still had a few good years until I became my parents' parents. Oh well.

Other than that I STILL DON'T HAVE INTERNETS (stabs parents!!) but between stealing time on friends comps and my new baby Ipod I can pretty much not pay attention to anyone or anything going on around me. Just the way I like it.

Oh and WTF is with all the baby showers. I bought gifts for 3 of them last week alone. Don't get me wrong I like babies and buying them presents. But was everyone and their brother getting it on like crazy in June? Heh... I guess I still was at that point. Le Sigh.

I did manage to get the radiator in my truck fixed which good. Shannon also bought a digital camera this weekend so I can finally finally finally update some of my pictures since I think a few of my Myspace photos are from 2001 (Eeek!)

When did Chuck KLosterman get on VH1... lol I love that nerdy guy. I'm also really into my lastest book. 'Nothing Feels Good' by Andy Greenwald, I got it at the store Christmas party. I would definately suggest it to anyone who at all appreciates music genre critic and history. Oh man the last chapter I read was about Jimmy Eat World and he's writing about the Pop Disaster Tour show in Dallas and I was reading it thinking holy shit man I was at that concert!

Looks like plans are quickly forming for a definate Coechella attendance which will be fabulous beyond belief.

Ack I need to get back to ze room cleaning and by room cleaning I do mean dancing around like a madman with brief interludes of folding clothing.

God Damn the Pacific time zone man. The whole thing. I have to stay up until AT LEAST 11:00 for Grey's Anatomy and then its up at 3:45 for the next 3 mornings. Craptastic!
