Last night was... man, awesome? that's such a lame word to use but words are failing me as I just got home from 8 hours of work on about 3 hours sleep =D But it was a good lack of sleep. Tresspassing, delicious animation, hookahs, home-made banana bread (thanks Erica! - I really did like it my tummy was just upset)and some live spinning. Shannon you definatly know how to show a boy a good first date =P.

Seriously what the hell is up with L.A. I could go see indie films galore in TX. And I move out to movie capitol and can't find shit. I had all my hopes set on seeing Night Watch when I got off work today but can't find it showing anywhere near by! =( There's a free screening in Sacremento but that's a might extreme. Ughh I can't wait until it opens up here. Day Watch is already out in Russia and I haven't even seen the first one. *Cries miserably in the corner*

I seriously have to open the Ventu Park store tomorrow with a brand new barista and no relief coming until 9am... shoot me now please? Oh well overtime is overtime.

I can't help but giggle every time I hear a referance to Dick Cheney shooting his pal in the face. I SO cannot wait until the first SNL after the Olympics!

Woah, I totally think I'm going on a date tonight.

It's been..... awhile lol.

I'm supposed to be there at 6ish so of coarse I started getting ready at 2:45. A girl has got to look her best right? Now I'm just pacing around the house updating my LJ because if I don't sit down and focus on something I'm going to explode. Nerves/Excitement/Caffiene?! Whatevah!

Since a few people were asking for a real update (*cough* Brian *cough*) and because LJ used to be cathartic I'll go ahead and post something.

Eh.. so my sister talked to my mom on the phone today for the first time since her suicidal birthday. She's checking into a rehab clinic in Arizona next week for *GASP* her drug and alocohol addictions. She sounded suprised when we told her of coarse we knew she was an alcoholic. So for now I'm just going to work and trying my best not to dwell on it at all. I thought I still had a few good years until I became my parents' parents. Oh well.

Other than that I STILL DON'T HAVE INTERNETS (stabs parents!!) but between stealing time on friends comps and my new baby Ipod I can pretty much not pay attention to anyone or anything going on around me. Just the way I like it.

Oh and WTF is with all the baby showers. I bought gifts for 3 of them last week alone. Don't get me wrong I like babies and buying them presents. But was everyone and their brother getting it on like crazy in June? Heh... I guess I still was at that point. Le Sigh.

I did manage to get the radiator in my truck fixed which good. Shannon also bought a digital camera this weekend so I can finally finally finally update some of my pictures since I think a few of my Myspace photos are from 2001 (Eeek!)

When did Chuck KLosterman get on VH1... lol I love that nerdy guy. I'm also really into my lastest book. 'Nothing Feels Good' by Andy Greenwald, I got it at the store Christmas party. I would definately suggest it to anyone who at all appreciates music genre critic and history. Oh man the last chapter I read was about Jimmy Eat World and he's writing about the Pop Disaster Tour show in Dallas and I was reading it thinking holy shit man I was at that concert!

Looks like plans are quickly forming for a definate Coechella attendance which will be fabulous beyond belief.

Ack I need to get back to ze room cleaning and by room cleaning I do mean dancing around like a madman with brief interludes of folding clothing.

God Damn the Pacific time zone man. The whole thing. I have to stay up until AT LEAST 11:00 for Grey's Anatomy and then its up at 3:45 for the next 3 mornings. Craptastic!

Yea I know I've been off the radar lately. I'm still working on getting internets hooked up at home and I've been distracted trying to find a good job and getting into school for fall semester. Not to mention misc. family obligations and such.

My life is in a state of flux.

I've been both manicly looking forward to and dreadfully anxious about the upcoming move.

My life is about to take a huge turn and I'm not yet sure which direction and or dimension I will end up heading in.

I guess the cliche analogy to a book is rather accurate here. I see it as finishing but a single chapter in my life and not writing the epilogue. Many of the main characters will continue to make make appearences and hopefully we'll see a few good plot twists in the mix.

In California:

I plan to spend what time I have not wrapped up in job hunting/settling in wrapped up in the beach. I was born on an island and something about the coast has always consumed part if not of all of my soul. I foresee hours of sun, sand, wind and water, hopefully it will heal some of the ugly scar tissue from the last few years.

I need to spend time with my dad. I haven't spoken to him in over 6 months and every day that streak continues it gets harder and harder to break it.

I will draw... and paint. I was looking through my "dailies" book and I've completed exactly 3 pieces since moving back to Cleburne. Not that I haven't enjoyed my time here, time I feel was definately needed. But that time is coming to end. Time to pick up my shit and pick up where I left off. This may come quite easily as I plan to have ample time seeing as I will know not a soul, a fact I hope will change over time.

I'm sure you all are caught up in the rapture od my "to-do" list but honestly I was beginning to feel that if I didn't write it down somewhere it wasn't going to get done.

So.... Yea it's been awhile =P

More things have happened in my life since I last posted I'm not even going to begin to try and summarize them. I'm sure the important bits will filter in eventually anyway, they always do.

I'm living back in Cleburne again, while I absolutely having a grand time at the new place with the guys, it suck not being close to Ft. Worth/Dallas anymore. I'm a big city kid at heart and probably always will be. Unfortunately... and fortunately, (still haven't made up my mind)it's to be short lived.

Yes the rumors are true. Due to a number of extenuating circumstances life is just not happening here, and while I realize with some hard work and determination I could make it liveable I just get the feeling it's time for a new start.

I'm going to miss people here like you wouldn't belive. Namely the girl, my mom, and all my friends who are just coming back from college, I haven't seen these guys much the last few years and now it looks like they are back to stay just as I ride off into the sunset.

But there is the other side of the coin too. I've got a number of job opportunities already lined up, I'm gonna apply to CalArts and cross my fingers. I'll get to see my father and sister alot more, something that I haven't had the ability to do lately.

And the big reason I haven't been on AIM much:

He occupies the bulk of my time as I'm in limbo with no shcool or work right now.

My grandpa died and it's fucked my mom up so bad she was taking Valium and got caught at work and now might get fired.

My electricity has been off since Sunday.

I'm getting evicted on Friday unless I can come up with $2,000

And to top it off I just lost every fucking file for my Illustrator class that has a portfolio review on Monday.

So.. My new night class is Illustrator which basically means I get to fart around on a computer that actually lets me update as opposed to the deamon posessed creature that is my home PC.

We had the last week off which was a godsend... well I say that like I actually did something productive. I didn't, and it was a blast.

The new Saul Williams CD that came out on my birthday (but no one bought me) is most excellant and I bid you check it out post haste.

My teacher is starting to glare at me so I'm out for now.
